Further Information:

In 2020 Cheshire Archives and Local Studies asked residents of Cheshire to contribute images of their lockdown experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of “Life in Lockdown: Your Stories Shared”. This image is one of thirty selected to represent the collection on the Cheshire Image Bank.

Queen's Park was dedicated to the people of Crewe in July 1887 to mark the joint occasion of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Grand Junction Railway.

The Jubilee Clock was donated by the employees of the Railway Company and built in 1888. The tower is a Grade II listed building and is constructed of stone and brick.
